Path into the light is a large  healing at piece featuring a lady walking through stormy sea waves into a light clearing. the painting symbolyses the transformational growth after traumatic difficult times and that sense of reaching more our calmer core ( as symbolised by the calm soothing light in the centre focus point).  It measures  70x50cm and is a textured  mixed media piece out of acrylics and them mostly oils. 
 
  As a  trauma psychologist and artist I aim to  paint inspiring art that has a healing element. This one is all about  a hope giving piece that no matter what difficulty we go through there is light, strength and resilience   that can sprout from this at the end of the  tricky times. 
 The waves in the forefront have an very strong bouncy feel in there movement signalling the harsh difficult times whilst the sunlight and clouds sky speaks f the soothing comforting warmth we can reach when we self heal.  enjoy
